A few weeks ago, Planete Chic, Naturally Couture, and Quadrant Entertainment hosted the launch party for one of the sexiest comedic films made this year, ‘How to Seduce Difficult Women,’ at one of my favorite night spots—La Pomme .
The shindig was chock full of gorgeous fashion conscious New Yorkers that surely new a thing or two about seduction. Throughout the event there were short screenings of the film and the first 100 ladies received gift bags which naturally included seduction itself—decadent organic dark chocolate from Grenada Chocolates, in addition to coupon gifts for Lazer Cosmetica, and the soundtrack to How to Seduce a Difficult Woman.
'How to Seduce Difficult Women' was written, directed and produced by Richard Temtchine who also produced the films Dummy (starring Adrien Brody and Milla Jovovich), Nothing to Loose (starring Adrien Brody), and Almost Famous (starring Sybil Temtchine).
In How to Seduce Difficult Women, Temtchine tries to humorously seduce the American man into being more seductive. Yes, the film itself is very enticing on an objective level. It’s not a course on how to have sex, or how to score on Spring break—it’s clearly a story about seduction, in particular how the French men do it.
So, according to the French they’ve got America covered on the two most important aspects of life. Give your girl "French Women Don't Get Fat," by Mireille Guiliano, then when she’s down a few pounds, watch How to Seduce Difficult Women.
I know, I know…that’s being a bit cynical, but when you think about it Americans have got to stand up a little and contribute a bit more to what I like to call physi-social aspects of society. The Brits are taking over our TV and the French are schooling us on how stay thin and have sex. We’ve got to do a little more than providing fast food, clunky cars, and bad cheese to the entire world…(wait is American cheese considered cheese in other parts of the world?).
'How to Seduce Difficult Women' is a fabulous comedy—from the title (dique “difficult women” lol) all the way to the end. It just opened on October 30th and would definitely recommend you go see it. Whether you’re a guy or girl, you WILL enjoy it.
Here’s the short synopsis according to IMDB:
Before the Game--before players, pimps, and pickup artists, where was the art of seduction truly born? How to seduce Difficult Women is about bringing American men back full circle to the roots of seduction, forged tirelessly throughout the centuries in France. Throughout the film, we get to witness a motley crew of clueless hopefuls get spoon fed the wit and wisdom that it takes to seduce difficult women, led by their womanizing French teacher, Philippe. Through Philippe’s seduction course and How-To-manual, he drops the skills to help this eclectic group of guys to find out how to capture the woman or rather mate of their dreams. However throughout this school, we get to see if the master womanizer himself has the ability to keep his game tight or if he is the one that really needs schooling. Along the way we also get a taste of real-life NYC street interviews on romance, sex and seduction to see how it all stacks up in real life.
